PRIMITIVE CORDAGE

Location: Meet at Jacob Hamblin Park, North end of 100 East in Kanab.

Description: Discover the art and techniques for making rope from local plants such as dogbane, juniper bark, and yucca. Learn about the plants used to make cordage, how to identify them, where they are found, and why they were used. Leave the workshop with your own hand-woven cordage.
