About Amazing Earthfest

Each year during the third week of May, the Amazing Earthfest in Kanab, Utah, celebrates land and life on the Colorado Plateau with seven days of exciting educational activities offering essential experiences of the natural environment. Events are presented free of charge for the public in botany and wildlife; dinosaurs and rock art; hiking, cycling, horseback and ATV riding; land management and community sharing; science, ethics and astronomy; Native American culture and Pioneer history. Performance arts, exhibitions, and entertainment events express insights and love for the natural world. The Amazing Earthfest enhances ecological understanding while showcasing some of the world’s most beautiful scenery.

The annual Amazing Earthfest is designed to appeal to families and individuals from across the U.S. and around the globe. Visitors are invited to discover, learn from, and celebrate the National and State Parks, Monuments, Forests and Public Lands of the Colorado Plateau. Guided backcountry trips and expeditions to remote locations within exquisite natural settings are offered, and individual exploration is encouraged. The festival includes a series of specially selected, contemporary award-winning documentary films that provide opportunities for learning about issues of planetary, national, and regional significance in a cool, comfortable theater.

Amazing Earthfest is one of the premier festivals on the Colorado Plateau.  Attendance has doubled each year since 2007!!   A “MUST SEE” on the Colorado Plateau!!
