Kanab is located in the southwest corner of Utah surrounded by several National Parks, Forests, Monuments, Public Lands, and State Parks including:  Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon National Park (North Rim), Capitol Reef National Park, Kaibab National Forest, Dixie National Forest, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Pipe Spring National Monument, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area (Lake Powell), Red Cliffs National Conservation Area, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, Petrified Forest State Park, and Snow Canyon State Park.  Las Vegas is a 3-hour drive.  Salt Lake City is a 5-hour drive.
